Albrights Fund Grant to Mentor Students at N.C. State
Andy Albright, a member of North Carolina State’s Entrepreneurship Initiative advisory board and his wife Jane funded a grant for speakers to come and talk to students at the University about entrepreneurship.
“In these critical development years of becoming an adult, it’s vital that these students seek leadership skills and develop them so that they can get started towards a path of success.” said Andy Albright, President and CEO of National Agents Alliance®.
The board’s goals this year is to build upon the established entrepreneurship education programs in the colleges of engineering and management; tie other programs together; build new university wide elements which includes a course for a general education requirement, a K-12 outreach program that establishes N.C. State as priority choice for high school seniors interested in entrepreneurial careers as well as community, social, and networking opportunities for N.C. State students.
Albright and eleven other N.C. State alums were chosen to provide opportunities to empower students as entrepreneurial thinkers, doers, and leaders.

Should I go to NCSU or ASU?
I have been accepted into North Carolina State University (NCSU) and Appalachian State University (ASU) and can't decide where to go. I really like ASU because of the location (in the mountians, it is far from my house) and it has a nicer campus. I like NCSU because everyone has heard of it. Right now I want to go to school to be a Chiropractor (I'm thinking of majoring in Kinesoiology (exercise science) and minoring in Buisness).
Where do you think I should go? I guess I am really just asking... Will I be crippled in any way for choosing to go to the less prestigous school (ASU)?
Which is the better business school?
It sounds like you like App State more. I would go there if I were you. You will get a better experience overall and probably be happier. It is a smaller school in a much more beautiful and different location (esp. if you are from the middle of the state) Neither State nor App. have have prestigious or bad reputation (esp. in business). If you were going for Agriculture, Vet, or Engineering, I would suggest State.
