is there anyone out there who has successfully shifted your baby's sleep schedule????
i have been trying to get ruby to sleep from 8-6 instead of 7-5. it hasn't seemed to work. i have moved naps later, too. i have blackout shades. i have shortened naps. i am not sure if i gave it long enough, though. after about a week i went back to a 7-7:30 bedtime because she was just sleeping 9 hours instead of 10. if anyone has had success with moving everything later, please tell me how and how long it took. 5:00 is rough for me. ROUGH!

Move it slowly, a few minutes at a time. My nephew for the longest time was only sleeping until 430/5 but he was falling asleep at around 6. We started with increments of about 10 minutes and we would just leave him in the crib in the morning for about 10 minutes or so after he woke up. Now he sleeps 8-7ish.
