Meet Gene Bachman - Owner of Bachman Blinds

Gene is almost a native of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia; Mom and Dad were Navy and you know the rest of that story. Gene graduated from Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Old Dominion University. With all these roots, Gene has definitely become a true local and currently lives in Virginia Beach.

Bachman Blinds is a reflection of Gene's entrepreneur spirit and his desire to craft a professional full service window treatment company. From the very inception of Bachman Blinds, a high quality installation has been the company's number one goal.

Gene's enthusiasm for excellence extends to his two other passions - flying and triathlon. Gene is an instrument rated pilot who has been flying since 1989 and currently owns a Cessna 172. Need an overnight emergency repair? Seriously though, by flying Bachman Blinds is able to perform blind installation and repairs through out the mid-Atlantic region.

The sport of triathlon is a demanding physical challenge involving swimming, bicycling and running. Gene is highly competitive in his age group classification and regularly places in running and multi-sport events.
